The movie for the month of December is the 1940 Christmas in July starring Dick Powell and Ellen Drew. It is the story of a man who THINKS he has won a contest. He gets a promotion at work and his whole life changes; I am trying not to give to much away. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year. What a terrific movie! And at 1 hour and 8 minutes it's the shortest movie I've ever seen. I get to watch it a second time since Tom missed it the first time(any guesses why?).
Once again I am pleased that you found another one of my movie choices a positive experience. It is getting a little harder to find great Christmas films that people do not know about. Movielynne P.S. I think I know why Tom missed the film zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!
The movie was a refreshing look at an era when people were less sophisticated and more down to earth. Very fun to watch!
